Cultural Quarter Priority Update - November 2025 |
||
|
Hello,
Attached is our November updates regarding our beat priorities and plans we have moving into December.
November Update Addressing Anti-Social Behaviour in Open Spaces Looking ahead to December, patrols will be increased in anticipation of higher footfall in the City during the lead-up to Christmas. This proactive approach aims to provide reassurance to the public and deter ASB from occurring.
Preventing Burglary and Retail Theft The beat team continues to focus on repeat offenders, working to prevent further offending through the use of bail conditions and Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBOs). Crime prevention advice will also be shared on social media, offering helpful reminders about ‘Darker Nights’ and the importance of securing windows and doors.
Safer Nights Out for Women December will bring a number of events, parties, and celebrations into the City Centre. The team will maintain a proactive presence within the night-time economy to provide reassurance and high visibility. Planned operations targeting predatory behaviour will also be increased throughout December to prevent offences and ensure public safety.
Take care,
Joe Culverwell PS 661
